There are a number of criteria and conditions that have to be met when hiring the Club House, these are listed below If you'd like to see photo's of our clubhouse and it's environs, these are available in our Galleries 

 CONDITIONS OF HIRE OF CLUB’S LOUNGE: 2012
 

1                     CHARGES

Minimum charge of $200 or $4 per head (March to October)
Minimum charge of $300 or $6 per head.  (November to February)
Discount applies to Club Members
The Manager may negotiate special rates. Eg for small groups (<25) or short periods
Payment in full is to be made prior to the event.
 A $500.00 bond is required  prior to the hireage date. This is refundable if the clubhouse is left in reasonable condition. (E.g. no repairs or specialist cleaning is required) Any damage caused over and above the bond value will be charged to the person confirming the hireage.


2     BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Confirmation of booking is only made if:
                -the return slip is completed, signed and returned
- a non refundable deposit of $100.00 is paid and
- Omanu Golf Club staff have confirmed the availability following receipt
   of the deposit
 
3        NON-EXCLUSIVE USE
The Golf Club is a facility for its members who have the right of access to socialise.
Partitions are available to screen off areas to allow both club hirer/s and club members unhindered access to facilities.

 4        BAR HOURS

The Club’s liquor license covers the following hours:

Sunday – Thursday                    10am to 11pm
Friday – Saturday                      10am to 1 am
To avoid jeopardizing our license these times will be strictly adhered to.
Any extension to these hours will require a special license to be obtained.  The cost of this is $75.00.

5          BAR AND LIQUOR SUPPLIES

To comply with our liquor license the bar facilities of the club must be used and all alcohol must be purchased through the club bar (special requirements can be arranged). Alcohol is to be consumed only within the clubrooms and attached decks.

 6           BAR STAFF

Bar staff will be charged out at $20.00 per hour per staff member from 7.30pm until time specified or bar closure. ($25.00 on public holidays)

 7            CATERING

Finger food to full meals available and all catering will be done by the club caterer unless otherwise arranged with the caterer.

 8             HEALTH & SAFETY

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure all guests apply sound health and safety practices and the Club will not be responsible for any unsafe acts.

Fire hose reels, fire extinguishers and emergency call-points are located throughout the premises. The hirer is to ensure they are familiar with the locations should they be required for an emergency. In the event of an evacuation  the assembly point is on the grass area by the practice nets at the end of the path adjacent to the 1st tee.

 9             EQUIPMENT

Any requirement for club equipment is to be specified with an operational demonstration and trial to occur at least the day prior to the event. There is no guarantee technical support is available on the day unless specific provision has been made.

 10             SPECIAL REQUESTS

      If there are any special needs/requirements, we will endeavour to do
       our utmost to fulfil any reasonable requests.
